About INO Chemical Industries
For decades of manufacturing expertise, built on an unwavering commitment to quality, consistency, and innovation in synthetic organic dyes.
Since 1985
INO Chemical Industries commenced its operations in 1985 with the sole purpose of providing best quality Solvent Dyes. With the knowledge and experience of our promoters and their temperament of doing things right, the company managed to power up the production of Synthetic Organic Dyes in an industrial suburb of Vatva, Ahmedabad.
Initially the production capacity was 2 MT per month, which has now increased to 20 MT per month โ producing more than 40 Synthetic Organic products including Solvent Dyes, Acid Dyes, Basic Dyes, and Pigment Powders for various industrial applications.
From 2 MT to 20 MT per month โ a 10ร growth in production capacity while maintaining the quality standards our customers rely on.
Mission & Vision
Our Mission
To consistently improve our products, processes, and services to meet our customers' needs, allowing us to prosper as a business. We aim to procure and supply only those quality products which meet our customers' essential requirements as per international standards of performance, quality, and reliability.
Our Vision
To be the best quality supplier worldwide. Quality over Quantity โ that is the principle that guides every decision we make. We aspire to be the most trusted name in synthetic organic dyes across global markets, recognized for consistency, integrity, and technical excellence.
Understanding Solvent Dyes
Solubility in an organic solvent is the defining physical property of a solvent dye โ enabling their remarkable versatility across industries.
What Are Solvent Dyes?
Solvent dyes and Oil Colors are names used interchangeably. Their solubility in non-polar mediums allows for remarkable versatility and many industrial uses. Typical solvents include alcohols, ethers, ketones, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, oils, fats, waxes, and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
Key Applications
The most frequent applications of solvent dyes are in the petroleum and plastic industries. Within industrial plastics, solvent-based dyes are used to color Acrylics, HDPE, LDPE, PP, PE, PVC, PMMA, PETP, polystyrene, and styrene monomers.
Categories of Solvent Dyes
Polymer Applications
In the polymer industry, solvent dyes are used in combination with pigments depending on temperature, light fastness, and heat fastness requirements. Blending dyes and pigments helps achieve desired results and price points.
Our Infrastructure
Our manufacturing unit is located in the industrial suburb of Vatva, Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat. The facility spans 5000 sqmt of land, housing a complete production line, warehousing for raw materials and finished goods, and a fully functional Effluent Treatment Plant.
We maintain a dedicated in-house laboratory for inspection of raw materials and finished goods โ every batch is tested. Our team of chemists also conducts R&D for new product development.
For extensive testing beyond our in-house capabilities, we maintain established relationships with certified external labs including Intertek and ATIRA.

In-House Laboratory
Full analytical capability with HPLC, UV/VIS Spectrophotometer, and moisture testing apparatus. Every production batch is inspected before dispatch.
Environmental Commitment Since Day One
At INO Chemical Industries, environmental and social responsibilities are top priorities. Our commitment to the environment is as strong as our commitment to quality.
INO Chemical Industries has a fully functional effluent treatment plant that has been designed in-house, to meet the Company's and State Pollution Board's specific requirements. Secondary and final treatments are done at CETP (Common Effluent Treatment Plant) run by GREEN ENVIRONMENT CO-OP SOC LTD (GREEN).
We are proud to be one of the first manufacturing units to adopt environmental protection principles โ since 1985. We were among the first to receive Government subsidy for environmental compliance in 1991.
